It Takes a Village

Dense urban environments require multiple-unit living opportunities for all types of people. Drawings for apartment buildings, townhouses, and condominium units include examples of future tenants and how they will be living within those spaces. The client often drives the contents of the presentation drawing. For example, there is greater ethnic diversity represented in the projects proposed for the Longshoreman’s Union (ILWU) apartment complex and the All Hallows development sponsored by the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency, than there is in the proposed development for Santa Monica.
