Graphic insurgency proved to be a risky venture. Angered by administrative support for anti-war activism, the UC Regents, at the behest of Governor Reagan, hired the San Francisco accounting firm of Haskins & Sells to investigate “possible misuse of University equipment, facilities, funds or personnel time” within three rebel hotbeds: the School of Law, student organization offices on Lower Sproul Plaza, and the College of Environmental Design.
