Residential Projects

The vast majority of Olsen’s professional career was spent designing houses around the Bay Area between 1950-1985. From the very start, Olsen had a specific design aesthetic that can be seen in all of his residential designs. Olsen’s designs were boxy, stark white, and almost always had at least one wall of floor to ceiling glass.
