Chabot Terrace

Approved in April of 1942 by the Office of Defense Housing Coordinator, the Chabot Terrace project consisted of a single 3,000-unit cluster of housing four miles north of Vallejo’s business district. To work within the completion schedule, construction was to begin in June and the project completed by September, William Wurster and Ernest Kump worked together to design a single demountable row house.
